Roderick Williams & Albion Quartet

Roderick Williams is a baritone with a passion to communicate, whose sunlit voice and personal warmth make every note he sings go straight to the heart. Today he joins one of Britain’s most energetic and inspiring string quartets in Samuel Barber’s haunting Dover Beach; first, though, the Albion Quartet plays Beethoven’s mighty ‘Razumovsky’ Quartet. Music that asks big questions – and gives answers you’ll never forget.
RWCMD String Ensemble in Residence, The Albion Quartet, is supported by the Mosawi Foundation.

Mae Roderick Williams yn baritôn gydag angerdd i gyfathrebu, sydd a llais yn llawn o haulwen a chynhesrwydd personol sy’n gwneud i bob nodyn cyrraedd y calon. Heddiw, mae’n ymuno un o bedwarawdau llinynnol mwyaf egniol ac ysbrydoledig Prydain mewn Dover Beach brawychus Samuel Barber; ond yn gyntaf, bydd yr Albion Quartet yn chwarae’r ‘Razumovsky’ nerthol gan Beethoven. Cerddoriaeth sy’n gofyn cwestiynau mawr – a sy’n rhoi atebion nid ydych yn debygol o anghofio.
